The Importance of Branding when Investing in Large Format Graphics

February 8, 2021

After earning a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing, Taylor understands the importance of consistent branding. She shares her knowledge with Elebrand-LFG clients, where she works as a sales and marketing director of the company.

On top of working for Elebrand-LFG, Taylor has years of experience with social media marketing, content creation, and curated company branding. She has been pivotal in building the online presence of brands big and small. Her first-hand knowledge of the fashion industry inspired her to use her marketing, sales, and social media expertise towards helping companies elevate their space using custom wall graphics.

Elebrand-LFG (pronounced el-uh-brand) is a graphic design company that specializes in facility branding through the use of custom, large format graphics. We use our industry knowledge and branding expertise to help business owners realize their full branding potential.

Our name, Elebrand-LFG, comes from our motto that every wall wrap, window wrap, and design we install will enhance your space and elevate your brand, hence our name, Elebrand! LFG stands for large format graphics which are essentially graphics/print projects that require an industrial size printer — wall wraps, window wraps, vehicle wraps, and signage.

Our company is unique because we take care of everything — we facilitate, manage, and oversee the entire project from start to finish. We work with our clients to develop logo design, go through font selections, establish a color palette, design their custom wall wrap and/or signage that will enhance their space and elevate their brand, manufacture everything, and finally professionally install it all (install day is my favorite day!). Every detail is so important in branding and large format installations, that’s why choosing a team with experience and expertise is critical.

The Importance of Investing in Branding

It is necessary to invest in branding because it carries over into all aspects of your business; from online sales, to social media advertising, to customers visiting your brick and mortar store. Without a strong brand identity, your brand can never reach its full potential. It is crucial to partner with a company that understands branding from the inside out who can work with you through the entire process and advise you on everything from font selection, color palettes, imaging, logo design, designing and installing your large format graphics.

Investing in branding before investing in large format design/print will make a huge difference for your business, and we always emphasize this to our clients before we design any large format graphics; without a strong brand identity, you won’t be able to choose a design for your space because you won’t have a solid understanding of who you are as a business and what you want your customers to see, feel, and think when they enter your space.

When done well, branding can help you to create a truly memorable and impactful brand experience for your customers.

How can you utilize your storefront to drive business?

SIGNAGE

Signage is one of the most important things you can invest in as a business owner with a brick and mortar location. When customers walk by your store or business, your sign and branding should be clean, easy to read, and it should encourage people to enter your business. We work with our clients to create eye-catching signage that will grab the attention of potential customers.

My advice? Do not skimp on your signage!

In a study done by FedEx in conjunction with Ketchum Global Research & Analytics, they found the following:

  • 8 out of 10 people said they entered a store they have never been into before based only on its signage.
  • 75% of respondents said they had told others about a business simply based on its signage.
  • 67% of people said they purchased a product or service because a sign caught their eye.
  • 60% of people said the absence of clear signage deters them from entering a business.
  • 60% of businesses reported a 10% increase in sales, profits, and transactions after installing a new sign with an improved design with better visibility and readability.

The data doesn’t lie! Invest in signage; your future self will thank you for it.

SOCIAL MEDIA WALL

A social media wall can be as simple as a die-cut of your company name or logo, or it can be a full wall wrap with a customized branded pattern/image, or we can get creative with signage—using neon signs, acrylic lettering, and more! Whichever direction you decide to go, a social media wall can create an amazing word-of-mouth marketing opportunity for you. Your customer’s desire to share a selfie or new purchase with their friends will drive customers back to your business. Did you know that millennials spend more than 54 hours a year taking selfies? Take advantage of that!

Picture this, you own a clothing store, a hair salon, or a restaurant, and a customer comes in (because they saw your awesome sign) and they make a purchase. Yay! But then they walk out the door. They’re gone. Hopefully they tell some friends, right?

What if there was an area in your store they could snap a picture? Somewhere they could hold up their shopping bag in front of your logo to post on their Instagram story and share their new purchase with friends, or a spot they could take a selfie holding their coffee/ice cream/new wallet, or a spot they can pose under a custom neon sign with your brand name (next IG post, check!) with your logo in the background. Now you’re getting free advertising from a satisfied customer to their sphere of influence that is likely also going to be interested in your brand! Much better than that first scenario, right?

Additionally, when they share a photo on their page and tag you, not only are you getting the exposure to all their followers, but with their permission, you can repost the photo on your business page. Free social media advertising and free social media content? It’s a win-win.

VEHICLE WRAPS

Here’s what I always tell our clients when they’re on the fence about whether or not to wrap their company vehicles: “You’re driving around anyway, you might as well get some advertising out of it!”

Our custom vehicle wraps are high-quality and will last for years. We can do a full or partial wrap on your personal vehicle, company van, or catering truck. We can also keep it simple and instead of an entire wrap, just apply your logo to the side or back of your vehicle for a more subtle look.

Regardless of coverage, don’t waste time and money driving another mile without telling the world about your incredible brand!

How We’ve Helped Companies Realize Their Branding Potential

We have worked with small businesses and large companies to create authentic, impressive, custom branding through the use of large format graphics.

This past year we worked with an up-and-coming restaurant chain to implement large format graphics at their various locations. The wall wraps, window wraps, signage, and vehicle wraps have worked to elevate their space and enhance their brand. Customers are amazed when they walk in and the owners are so happy with how the wall wrap makes the space feel.

Whether you’re a new company with a strict budget or a company with several locations and a large marketing budget, Elebrand-LFG can help you! We work with every single client to achieve their goals no matter what their budget is. There is always a need for branding and a solution; we’d love to brainstorm with you!

We’ve got you covered. Literally
