In need of a few quick, simple last-minute holiday marketing ideas to close out 2023? Here are three you can implement right now:
- Create a holiday-themed opt-in to get more of your audience on your email list! This is a fun way to stir up festive excitement. Using the holidays as leverage adds an extra dose of eagerness to whatever it is you’ll offer! For example, I designed a Christmas-inspired iPhone wallpaper and used it as an email opt-in this month. While it has nothing to do with branding, I was still able to add a few names to my email list based on the excitement of Christmas — and my audience wanting to feel festive — alone.
- What better way to welcome those new subscribers than with a discount or special holiday promo?! Send it via email or announce it on socials, and have it run into the first week of January. Hype it up now, but remind your audience about it again at the start of January. This is especially great for those in service-based businesses with offers that people would want to take advantage of at the start of a new year (think renewing or goal-motivated services). Introducing the promo now warms your audience up to it, but running it into the new year allows them time to focus on the purchase after the holiday craze ends.
- With no time left to ship products, what can you do as an e-commerce business? Market last-minute shoppers with gift cards or gift certificates! Push the two hard over the course of the next two days, making a point to call out last-minute gift buyers, shining light on why buying your gift card or certificate is the right choice for the loved one they’re still shopping for.
